Japanese high-end cable and accessories experts Furutech are no strangers to US audio magazine The Absolute Sound’s annual ‘best ofs’, and the Editors’ Choice Awards 2024 are no exception.
Furutech’s six-outlet Pure Power Distributor, crafted from a CNC-machined cube of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, is described as “a virtual black hole for EMI and RFI”. It nails the perimeter around sung notes and the clarity of the space between them, resulting in a more definitive sense of layering and transient immediacy.”
And, with the GTX DR NCF AC Duplex Wall Outlet, “Furutech has taken the humble outlet and run it through a gauntlet of refinement far beyond what most of us can imagine.” Its “uncompromising quality and high performance” are effective in “reducing noise across the soundstage. Like a sonic dust cloth, images were more tangible and retrieved with greater clarity.”
